Gloria’s sudden clemency of an unremorseful looter had unconsciously depicted the pretense of a lot of our so called persons in charge. In my mind, the leading losers are the Catholic Church’s leaders who had unconditionally supported the pardon for the shameless offender. Casually, I’ll be able to mention Cardinal Vidal and Bishop Bacani & even several other Church hierarchies who also sustained the reprieve. At this hour, Estrada still declines to concede remorse and maintains that he is guiltless, so backing a pardon for an impenitent criminal go against Church philosophy. Given these particulars how in hell can Cardinal Vidal, Bishop Bacani and those other church leaders now reconcile their support for the contentious pardon with the Catholic dogma that allows forgiveness only after a criminal has own up his fault and recognized a pretense of repentance. This grave divergence from Church policy entitles for an urgent explanation from the Vatican at this point in time.

Noting that Jinggoy Estrada was one of the most fervent enemy of the NBN-Broadband transaction at the Senate investigations and enthusiastically pushing the corruption direction in the contract now proclaimed his plans to personally express gratitude to Gloria Arroyo for granting pardon to his father and also detached his person from any GMA impeachment case.
